The image presents a modern architectural interior of a shopping center. The photo captures multiple levels connected by sleek, winding staircases and escalators. The prominent feature is a geometric, glass-paneled structure that forms part of the ceiling or façade, allowing natural light to flood the space. This complex lattice of steel and glass contrasts with the smooth curves of the staircases and the flat, clean lines of the railings and floors. People can be seen moving through the space or standing on different levels, adding a human element to the scene. The image is black and white, which emphasizes the patterns, shapes, and light contrasts within the architectural design.

@another I know this place and I know how difficult it is to get a good shot there. You did it. It's great.

@haraldhux@photog.social Thank you! I followed some circles (metal I think) inset in the floor to that spot. I think someone designed it to have a view from that spot (and/or figured it out and had the trail added later). This was shot in November 2023 with my iPhone 12 mini. I wish I had a wide lens on my Fuji that day but alas. It still turned out wonderful though :)

@another It really did.
Next time I'm there I'll look for the mentioned trail. Thanks for the hint.

@haraldhux@photog.social The person on the second level down in front of the vertical bit was a bit lucky to have as well. I think their dark shape right there really helps this scene.

@haraldhux@photog.social I was standing behind some information / map panels just a little bit to the side of the up escalator.

@kerstinsailer@sciences.social It is a shopping mall in Frankfurt, called the MyZeil.

The main part in my photo is a glass tube open to the sky that terminates in the building's glass frontage. Hard to explain, but there are some more photos and information online like this article www.archdaily.com/243128/myzeil-shopping-mall-studio-fuksas
